Vehicle Lifts for Scooters, Powerchairs, and Wheelchairs
You can expand your mobility and independence away from

As shown below, there are three basic styles of vehicle
lift, each of which comes in a variety of sizes and
styles to fit the type of vehicle and mobility device you own.
The interior style (above left) uses a small crane with a hook and line
to pick up your chair or scooter, raise it, and
move it to the inside of your vehicle, where it is then
secured.
The external style (above center) has a platform or arm onto which you
drive, push or place the scooter or chair, and then raise
it off the ground into a secured transport position.
The hybrid style (above right), which is the newest
variety of vehicle lift, extends a platform to the
outside on the ground, and then lifts and stows the
mobility device inside
-- in some models at the push of a button.
